A great night for many reasons…
It was a brilliant way to end the year on Monday in Colchester. A great crowd was in attendance with some familiar faces and a few new ones as well. We had 2 contestants for the best Christmas jumper in Matt and James. Matt’s was a t-shirt and therefore, James won by way of a vote and won himself a ticket to our next event!
Damian once again did a great job of running the show (even if he has lost the trophy – more on that below!) Also, thanks to Susanne and Alex for being great ambassadors.
The biggest thanks of all go to our speaker, Hannah Fielding for her talk on the benefits of using a VA. It was a big deal for Hannah to talk in front of others and I know how nervous she was. She absolutely smashed it and was a natural speaking in front of people. Thanks to Tim Hargraves for giving some free coaching to Hannah to get her confidence up. Tim has kindly offered a free session to anyone who would be interested in talking so let me know if you are interested in that and we’ll get a date set for you!
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What’s your favourite Christmas film?” Damian picked me as the best with Home Alone 2 but as I’m not allowed to win, Tim won with his choice of Home Alone 1! Tim wins a free ticket to our next event but didn’t get the trophy as that has been lost! So here is a picture of Tim with a teapot with a flower coming out of it instead…
