The one that didn’t really happen…
Thanks to those who made the effort to come along last night. It turned into a bit of a strange one. With the A14 shut, a major fire, and other road closures all over the place, the numbers were very low. Even the team couldn’t make it.
That said, those who did make it in still had a good chat and a few drinks, so it wasn’t a complete write-off, but just not a proper meeting!
As Marie couldn’t deliver her talk, she will now be speaking in July instead.
Usually, I have a rule that if you don’t turn up and don’t let me know, you lose your ticket. BUT, everyone who was booked on, including those who could not make it, will be sorted with a free ticket to the next event, as I am sure several of you were affected, even if you didn’t let me know!
