Smaller but great night…
Thanks to those of you who came to PUBNetworking last Thursday. We had lots of regulars unable to make it, giving us a smaller-than-usual meeting.
Even two of the team were unavailable, and I was in Norwich, meaning that we had to ask Andrew “Diesel” Bennett to step in as host for one time, and he did a brilliant job. For saving the event from cancellation, he has been awarded the “Certified PUBNetworking Legend” status, which doesn’t give him a certificate but free attendance to any PUBNetworking events he wants for life. Big, BIG thanks to Diesel and to Yvonne in support.
Big thanks also go to our speaker, Neil Grover, for his talk on how to get more from your existing clients and how to keep hold of them as well. I received some great feedback on the talk.
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What is your favourite song of all time?” The winner was Pierre Redelinghuys for an answer I don’t know; I’m sure he was a deserved winner! Pierre wins a ticket to next month…
