Our return after the summer break…
Thanks to those who came along on Thursday night! I’ve been advised it was a good evening, even if we did have a few no-shows.
Big thanks, as always, to Allen for running the show. Allen has been running things by himself – we could do with a few ambassadors to help out, so if you are interested, please let me know.
If running the night all alone was not enough, Allen again stepped forward to give the main talk. I’m sure those of you who attended got something from it!
The question that went with the introduction this month was, “What film/TV show quote do you use in real life?” Allen chose Sarah Messruther for her answer of “You are going to storm the castle” from The Princess Bride! One of Allen’s favourite films, perhaps?! In any case, Sarah wins a ticket to our next event…
