Sugar and lettuce…?
Massive thanks to all those who came along last night. It was yet again another busy room and loads of great people too. It was a great night all round.
Big thanks to the team as always; it’s been amazing to see Colchester really kick on this year!
The biggest thanks of all go to our speaker, Caroline Poulter, for her talk on how you can use shapes to handle difficult situations and to use them in getting the best out of people too. It was very insightful and will be useful for when I’m arguing with my children!
Thanks also to SJ Cooper for taking some photos on the night. As soon as they become available, I will put them on our LinkedIn!
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What’s your favourite food combination?” There were some random responses, as you’d expect – lettuce with sugar, McDonald’s fries dipped in milkshake – but the worst was just jellied eels. Disgusting and I would like to offer my apologies to everyone that had to hear Mandie’s disgraceful answer. However, all was redeemed by our winner Amy Sturgeon for her answer of gherkins and mustard! Amy wins a free ticket for next month!
