If you didn’t attend, you missed a blinder…
Thanks to those who came along last Thursday. It was quite possibly the best night we’ve had in Chelmsford and a contender for one of the best nights we’ve had across all our events for many, many months. Big thank you to all those who made it such a great night.
Big thanks to Tim for running the evening and our new ambassador, Hannah, who sadly was ill and couldn’t make her big reveal!
The biggest thanks goes to our speaker, Andrew Laws, for his talk about Google lying about us. He did an exceptional job of keeping up the great vibe in the room and giving a great talk.
I took some reasonable photos of the evening (as did Clare, they’re not all my own work) so if you want to see them, you can peek here on LinkedIn – feel free to slap a like on there too!
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What are your favourite crisps?” Tim chose his fellow Lancastrian and Leeds supporter (I know, one of them is enough), Rik Cridland, for his choice of Lancashire Black Pudding crisps that were in the pub. This then prompted everyone to go and buy 5 bags each. Rik donated his award to Shahina Nessa due to the fact that she turned up early for the event. 12 hours early to be precise! So we’re grateful after realising her error and that we’re not a bunch of alcoholics that meet at 7.30am in a pub, that she came back in the evening! However, the picture is of Rik, which I haven’t received from Tim, so I have mocked up a very close likeness of when he lifted his award.
Come and join us next time! Here are the details of our next Chelmsford networking event…
