Another solid Chelmsford event…
Thanks to those who came along last Thursday. I have been advised that it was a very enjoyable evening, despite the lighter numbers in the room again.
Hannah ran the show by herself. Sadly, Tim has stepped down as host, so he goes with my big thanks for running the show for nearly 2 years now. He has been more than a host to us, constantly trying ways to improve the business, help out where he can beyond a host’s role and has become a friend to me and many of you. Hopefully Tim can come along again in November when I will be there for a proper goodbye.
The team is being rejigged, and I know a few of you were interested in helping out. I will be in touch soon.
Big thanks also to our speaker, Kayla Conley, for her talk where she lets everyone else do the talking. It is a very engaging and fun talk, so I know it would have gone down well!
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What is your favourite song of all time?” The winner was Lesley Morrissey for her answer of ‘Smoke on the Water’. That was a bit before my time, but Hannah chose it, showing her classic musical taste! Lesley wins a ticket to next month…
