Big thanks…
Thanks to those who came along last Thursday. We had good numbers despite the usual few no-shows, which I can only presume was down to the rain. Surely you guys in Brighton are used to a bit of rain? It rains in Brighton 90% of the year!
Big thanks to Claire, Alessandro and our new ambassador, Joanne Topper, for running the show.
The biggest thanks of all go to our speakers, Jeremy Horne and Laura Mawer. We weren’t sure who we were going to have turn up, so they will now be known as Lauremy Horwer, so they can interchange in future. I have been advised that it was a brilliant talk, and indeed, I have seen a few social media posts that have backed that up!
The question that went with the introduction was, “What is your favourite starter at a restaurant?” The winner was Rodrigo Barreto for his answer of “buffalo mozzarella” – a reasonable answer, it’s no prawn cocktail, but solid enough. Rodrigo wins a ticket to next month…
