Last of the summer’s events…
Thanks to those who made the effort to come along last Thursday night. It was a brilliant evening, from what I have been told, despite several no-shows, including one person who booked 2 hours before the start time! Not sure what happened there!
Thanks to the team of Claire, Peter & Joanne for putting on a great evening. Sadly, Peter has now stepped down as an ambassador, so I would like to thank him for his efforts in his time as Brighton and Worthing ambassador. He has become too busy with his work (and playing golf) but has said he will still attend when time permits.
Biggest thanks of all go to our speaker, Margaret Sinclair, for her talk on how being weird in business can help you stand out and attract your tribe! I received some great feedback on it, and it is right up my street, so I am sure it was as brilliant as I have been told!
The question that went with the introduction was, “What is your favourite song of all time?” There were 2 winners: Cat Kennedy with Dolly Parton’s ‘9 to 5’ and Shirley Ali with ‘Islands In The Stream’, also by Dolly Parton! Maybe this wasn’t a PUBNetworking meeting but more of a Dolly Parton remembrance?! In any case, they both win a ticket to next month….
