A great return to Bury…
Thanks to those who came to our Bury St Edmunds meeting last Thursday; it was a very enjoyable evening with just the one no-show! A very enjoyable evening as Bury always is!
Big thanks to Phoebe for running the show, despite having taken a fall on holiday and hurting herself quite badly!
I gave the talk, all about breaking down confidence and the various parts needed in order to feel confident. I used football analogies but geared it towards giving a talk at an event at some point as well. It was obviously quite successful, as we had interest in future speaking slots and will continue to work on Tracey to give one in the new year too!
The question that went with the introduction was, “What is your all-time favourite song?” I chose the winner and went with Sara Clarke for her answer of Club Tropicana. As the winner, the drinks weren’t free, but she does win a free ticket to next month…
