A brilliant evening…
Thanks to those who came along last Thursday. Following on from a brilliantly attended event in June, the numbers weren’t quite as good, but considering all our other events have seen a dip over the last few weeks, it was no surprise, and the numbers were still pretty good anyway! Sadly though, the pub had taken the TV and put it in another Pug pub for showing the matches and failed to tell us. I have been assured the TV will be back for next time!

Biggest thanks of all go to our speaker, Martin Baynes, for his talk on getting more from your smartphone when it comes to taking professional-looking images. Sadly, the TV not being there meant it didn’t quite go to plan, but I was advised that he still gave a brilliant talk.
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What music act do you find most annoying?” The winner was Jessica Hayward, who doesn’t like the viola. Not quite sure that qualifies as an act, and even more surprisingly, she was chosen as the winner even though Christian plays the viola! In any case, Jessica wins a ticket to our next event…
