We’re taking a break…
Thanks to those who came along last Thursday. The booking numbers were the best we’ve had in Brighton this year. However, sadly, 6 of you didn’t show up. Regardless, 14 people were more than enough for a great evening, especially in the first week of September, which can throw out some random results.
Clare ran the show all on her own as Alessandro was away, and Zach has stepped down from helping out due to the demands of his new job. He should be at our next event, though, for a goodbye!
The biggest thanks of all go to our speaker, Maria Jonsson, for her talk on dealing with changes. I am sure that those who attended got lots from it, as I received positive feedback on the talk.
The question that went with the introduction was, “What is a film/TV show quote that you use in real life?” The winner was Saj Basaran for her answer of “Life is like a box of chocolates” from Forrest Gump. That answer gets my official seal of approval – great quote, great film! Saj wins a ticket to the next event…
We’re taking a break for September but will be back in October. Join us there for more excellent networking and random questions. Check out the details of our next Brighton networking event here…
