A brilliant evening…
Thanks to those who came along last Thursday night. An improvement in numbers, which is pleasing to see! And Chris was in attendance as well! There was, at times, some rather unsavoury conversation that lowered the tone, and we also had our first-ever book nerds corner that formed after the meeting!
Biggest thanks of all go to our speaker, Sam Brook, for her talk on bringing out your inner goddess, or, like in my case, Adonis! The talk went down very well!
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What is your favourite action film?” The winner was Jacqueline Whelan, who won via an audience vote, as I couldn’t choose between her answer of Die Hard and Terminator 2. Jacqueline wins a free ticket to next month…
