A drama-filled but brilliant evening…
Huge thanks to those who came along to our Ely event last Thursday. There were a few no-shows, including the speaker, who didn’t tell us until after the meeting started that he couldn’t make it. That is the first time in 600 meetings that has ever happened!
Fortunately, I had my laptop with me, so I was able to present something and gave a talk on why you are the USP of your business and should use it more!
I also had the pleasure of train delays both there and back!
Big thanks as well to our new team of Rekha, Catherine & Luke. Especially to Rekha for providing the evening’s real entertainment by parking in the middle of the road, thinking it was a parking space! A quick run out of the pub after the staff let her know sorted it out!
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What is your all-time favourite song?” The winner was Karen Knowler for an answer that I can’t remember! It was one of the better answers, as I recall! The important thing is that Karen wins a ticket to a future event…
