A standard Colchester evening…
Thanks to those who came along on Monday night. Slightly lighter on numbers than usual, but August is a tough month across the board! It was still a brilliant evening, though, packed full of laughs and disgust at Chris’s opening gag.
Big thanks to Chris and Al for their efforts. They were both there for once, finally putting to bed the rumours that they might be the same person!
Big thanks to our speakers James & James for their talk on how they got into the press and ways that businesses can as well.
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What is your favourite TV advert of all time?” Xandrina won for her answer of the Cadbury’s drum-playing gorilla advert, taking that to a 100% win rate for that answer across all events so far this month (other than the one I hosted!). Xandrina wins a free ticket to next month…
