Lots of new faces, still the same great meeting…
Thanks to those of you who came to PUBNetworking on Thursday night. It wasn’t quite a sell-out but not far off it, with lots of new faces – over half the attendees in fact! I know several regulars couldn’t make it for various reasons.
Anna (not Anne, don’t ever accidentally call her Anne), Yvonne and Justine, as always, made it a brilliant evening.
Biggest thanks of all go to our speaker, Miranda Williams, for her talk “Knowing Me, Leading You – Aha!” Sadly, I didn’t have the time to turn her into Alan Partridge, but this talk’s name was based on the Abba song, which I’m led to believe is the group who sang the theme tune for Alan. I have been told it was a very insightful and emotional talk.
The question that went along with the introduction this month was, “What is your favourite action film?” The winner was Neil Grover for his answer of Dunkirk because his mother was in it! Neil wins a ticket to next month…
